Experienced Technician
Job description
We are currently looking for a well-rounded licensed HVAC technician that has experience in both residential & commercial installations. Candidates should have some sheet metal experience & must have a gas licence as well as refrigeration. We service and install all typical commercial and residential equipment including furnaces, air conditioners, fireplaces, hot water tanks, humidifiers, ETC. In addition, we specialize in boiler systems and hydronics as well as ductless and whole home heat pumps. We are a growing company serving York, Durham, & southern cottage country.
We are looking for driven individuals with great customer service as well as mechanical aptitude. Along with hourly wages we are offering spiffs and sales incentives for offering products to customers that they actually need and will increase their comfort and peace of mind.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Drive a company work vehicle daily to site
- Install new furnace/ac in both retrofit & new home construction
- Install ductwork in custom home construction
- Install split systems and whole house heat pumps.
- Install boilers, venting, pumps, manifolds valves and water piping ETC.
- Cut & thread gas piping in both commercial & residential buildings
- Run refrigeration line sets for split AC & small refrigeration systems
- Basic troubleshooting skills
- Install venting on both mid & high efficient gas appliances
- Ability to read & follow a blueprint
- Good time management skills
- Excellent Customer service & communication skills
- Ability to lift materials & equipment into place
- Ability to communicate with customers and make recommendations for repairs or replacements including conveying pricing options
- Provide amazing customer service
- All candidates must work safe & have a clean drivers licence
License & Qualifications
- Valid G drivers licence with clean abstract
- G2 or G1 gas licence is a must
- 313A or D refrigeration mechanic is a must
- 308A sheet metal is optional

Helper/ Installer
Job description
We are currently looking to hire a new installer for a full time position. A G3 or G2 gas licence is preferred and candidates must have a clean driving abstract. The installer position entails helping a mechanic with the installation & service of residential and commercial HVAC equipment along with duct work. The candidate must have good customer relations, be punctual, mechanically inclined & bring a positive attitude. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to enter the trade & become part of a growing team. We are based out of Uxbridge & service York, Durham and southern cottage country.
